Review: Ruin by Rachel Van Dyken

Image
(Blurb): I'm not your typical girl. I've been running away from the memories that haunt me for so long that depression has become my only comfort. I was content in the darkness...until Wes Michals offered to be my light. I didn't know that time wasn't my ally -- that every second that ticked past was one step closer to the end of something that was beginning to mean the end of myself. He tried to warn me. He promised me all he was able to offer--each moment as it came--but it would never be enough. Sometimes when you think it's the end, it's only the beginning. Wes thought he could save me, but in giving me everything, he ruined me. Because after one kiss, one touch, I couldn't--I wouldn't ever be the same. And from that moment on, his heartbeat became my own. A Little Bit About Me

Image
I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself, first, before I begin posting things, so, here is a little bit about me! My name is Felicia and I am a new co-blogger for this site. Besides this, I am a student, a blogger, and a You Tuber. One of my main fascinations have always been with books and my main category of choice is YA (Young Adult) but I am usually pretty open to other options as I have indulged into some exceptional adult novels. Besides reading, I am working on my own novel (that I hope to publish one day) and I enjoy writing poetry, shopping, and learning about things that interest me. I especially love to build relationships with others and have become comfortable with having my "go-to" people in certain areas of life that I know I can shoot a quick email over to them and they will give me a thorough and honest answer. This has inspired me to be that same person to others, so, below are some of my links and also ways that you ca

Start-up Sunday #2 (September-October)

Image
Whenever the mood strikes me I write a "start-up Sunday" post that lists what is on my upcoming TBR radar. This usually happens once a month or so depending on 1.) if I have time to go through my TBR list and 2.) if I even have the slightest clue as to what I'm about to read. Many times I just pick and choose random books - some from my never-ending TBR pile. Others not. So attempting to write a 'start-up' post is sometimes pointless. But, I haven't posted a start-up Sunday in a while and there are actually quite a few books that I will be starting for tours in late-September and early-October. So here's what's on my list. Post the link to you lists in the comments and I'll come check out your immediate TBRs as well. ( Blurb ): Everyone expects her to succeed….   Everyone expects him to fail….
