The Book Cove

 Jake (California Dreamy) by Rian Kelley Jake is the epitome of "military man on a mission, but doesn't know what that mission is". He's a Marine on leave for certain reasons and happens to run into a girl that gives him a little bit of a run for his money. The play between these characters is witty and plays out perfect. The scenes aren't overdone and the dialog isn't cheesy. I will start by saying that I really liked this book! While the plot is one that I have seen done many times before, there's something about good writing that makes you not care! Maybe I was just in one of my steamy romance phases where any decently described sex scene sounded terrific to me. For a while it seemed as though I was getting a hold of books that had a few men on base but never knocked one out of the park. Ya know?
