FF prompt of the week: It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?


It really does scare me to do something like this as I have yet to like a book as much AFTER a movie as I did BEFORE a movie. Examples - Harry Potter will never be the same. I can't think of one movie that did the book justice. Twilight ruined every expectation I MIGHT have had. Beautiful Creatures absolutely slaughtered a story line. And after finding out Vampire Academy is filming - I lost all hope. So, as I down this glass of wine, I'll make a cast and hope that it doesn't actually happen.

The Gardella Vampire series is about a family of vampire hunters that takes place during the Regency era. Victoria Gardella is at the age to where she is officially entering society and has her mind filled with balls, gentlemen, and marriage. But when her Aunt reveals that she is more than just a normal girl - she is Ill Gardella - she must choose between living a normal life in blissful ignorance or taking on the role of a true Gardella in the family.
