Witch Blood is the third and final installment of the Vampire in the City series. You will want to check out New Blood (Book 1) and Wild Blood (Book 2) before reading this review as this will contain spoilers from those books.
(Author):Vampire Emma Hammond and her best friend and roommate Tammy Torres have rarely had a disagreement, but that’s all about to change. Apart from hating each other’s boyfriends, the duo have more monumental problems to deal with, like controlling Emma’s growing and increasingly dangerous bloodlust and trying to get blood stains out of the carpets. And when new witch Tammy joins a coven whose leader’s lust for power knows no bounds, Emma is unwittingly pulled into their plan.

Okay, this was definitely my favorite of the series! So many questions are answered - as it is the last book - and some crazy $#!% happens! Emma's roommate, Tammy, jumps from more of a support character to a main character in Witch Blood when she is chosen to join a special coven.
Emma really grows into her character in Witch Blood as well! She's able to keep her sense of humor while taking on this enormous duty that has been bestowed (...maybe that's the wrong word...hah) upon her. It ends up turning into a crazy circle; as Emma tries to figure out what the heck is going on with Tammy, Alex is trying to figure out what the heck is going on with Emma, and David is trying to stay alive while he tries to figure out what the heck is going on with Emma, Tammy, and Alex!
This series is a lot of fun. Be prepared to dedicate some time because the pages will keep turning and you'll end up lost in the supernatural world of New York City.
My overall rating of the series is 4.0 stars. While I really liked reading all of the Vampire in the City books, I feel like something in the end was missing. Some of the information given on the characters was not needed, and other information that I would have liked was not presented (e.g., David's background, more on why Alex was thinking the way that he was, more development of Tammy's character as she was a huge part of book 3 yet was overshadowed by the others).
