Review: The Princess Problem (A Fairy Tale Romance) by Diane Darcy
The Princess Problem (A Fairy Tale Romance) by Diane Darcy

If you're looking for something cute, humerus, and charmingly romantic - this is for you! When I wasn't laughing cordially with the characters, I was laughing absurdly at them. Especially Willa Highborn, the mom. She's something else, I tell ya!
Alicia is definitely a type A personality when it comes to her work ethic and she's not willing to let anyone stand in the way of her ambitions - even Jonas who really isn't diggin' her princess themed commercial. She's one of those people that are willing to take one for the team, even when the known outcome is unclear, and she does it with a strong playful tongue and a charm all her own.
If you're looking for something with characters with a strong background - this is not it. This is definitely a fun and easy read meant for relaxing and taking a break from damaged characters and twisted plots.
I'm adding in a fairy tale factor rating because I think it deserves it. It's one of the few that I've read recently that was not overly cheesy (key word, overly). Where a star gets knocked off on just about every rating category is that you can figure out where the book is going from the first few pages. The plot is a little too straightforward for my liking and while there's tension, there's really no conflict.
